I want to find out if food tastes differently when you can't see or smell.

Instructions
1. Get your equipment
2. Wash your hands.
3. Put on your blindfold.
4. Put your hand out for food
5. Pinch your nose with the other hand.
6. Eat the food and chew it.
7. Guess what the food is.
8. Release your nose and taste the food.
9. Where does the food react on your tongue?
Results:
Food #1. I think it was sugar because it felt like there were a lot of small sugar pieces.
Food #2. It was 100% salt. There was no difference when my nose was pinched and unpinched.
Food #3. It felt and tasted like baking powder.
Food #4. It was definitely citric acid.
Food #5. It was a sour lolly. It felt very squishy, and I could slightly taste the citric acid in my mouth.
Food #6. It was half a burger ring. It was very crunchy and jagged.
Food #7. Dry Marshmallow. It felt quite dry and hard.
Food #8. 100% apple slice.
Food #9. It was a gummy bear. 2nd favorite lolly! :D
Food #10. It was a pear.
Food #11. IT'S DAIRY MILK CHOCOLATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Food #12 (final food) EW ITS LEMON EW EW EW EWWWWWWWWWW (I spat it out into the trash)

Is there a difference between blocked and unblocked nose taste?
Yes, because when your nose is blocked it cuts off taste buds that are in your nasal cavities, and it also kills your sense of smell. You therefore cannot determine the food that easily.
