    safety in da lab

     1. Liquids do not go into the bins, because they could stick to the material in the bin, then when they would be emptied into the trash and sent to landfill, they would seriously pollute the landfill.

    2. Solids do not go down the sink because they will poison all the water ways, and if someone drinks it, there is a high chance they will die.

    3. Wear safety glasses when you do experiments,

because something could squirt into your eyes and it wouldn't be very nice.

    4. Put your chair under the desk, and stand at the bench

when you do experiments, because if you have your chair out, if something goes wrong, it would leak onto your seat.

    5. Bags do not go on the desks, because if something leaks, it could go in your bag.

    6. Long hair should be tied back, because you can dip your hair in something and you could either have hair loss or your hair could light on fire.

    7. Do not smell the chemicals, because you could pass out and some could even melt the membranes of your nose.

    8. Walk, don’t run around the room, because you could trip over and sprain, dislocate, or break a bone,

    9. Do not eat or drink in the lab, because you could poison yourself by touching other chemicals and the food.
