term 1 reflection

Term one was pretty fun for a first term in high school. I had some good moments, and some bad moments where I wish I could just go home. "But that's another story."- Swiss001

For subjects I had sewing, Maori, drama, Hurumanu, and Wananga. (obviously) My favourite class out of those is Wananga. Last term we made a tree to put on our wall, made a class treaty, introduced well being time and more.

Something challenging about term 1 was sewing. It is super hard since you need to know what everything is, and my family just carries some sort of gene that makes us all horrible at it. I have no idea why.

I would like to set 3 goals for this term and they are: 1. Get 5 or more full carr cards. 2. Meet some more people. 3. Get work done a bit faster.

  1. Kia ora Tyler. This is a really great reflection. I am so glad you are enjoying our wānanga time, making the tree was one of my favourite things too! You have set yourself three really cool goals, what sort of things do you need to do to reach those goals? I am also terrible at sewing and only recently learnt what a bobbin is! ;) Like anything, with practise you will always get better so don't give up on that skill just yet! ;)
