List of stuff you need to go camping - DLO

Hello readers! Hope you're hyped for the holidays.

As ANOTHER activity for the Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff book, we did ANOTHER DLO about an optional nature thing. This time, instead of animals, I created a DLO about what sort of stuff you need to go camping. It was very fun to create, and I hope you enjoy reading this.

drama - tableaus

Hello readers, hope you're having a good day.

This term in drama we have been doing tableaus. It was kind of.. meh, mostly just because I had drama P1 on a monday, and P5 wednesday. I'm very tired both of those class times. Anyways, here's the photos and stuff because I can't be bothered writing. Oh and also, I couldn't find the proper photos or videos so I'll just put in any photo with me in it.

What worked well while we were doing tableaus was being able to quickly spark new ideas and bring them into it.
If I had to improve something, it would be doing better face expressions and taking our heights to... new heights.
Our transitions between each tableau worked because, once again, we were able to spark new ideas quickly and them quickly move ourselves into a position that sort of brung that to life.

So, I hope you enjoyed this blog. To be properly honest I did the bare minimum this time, just tired and wanna go home.

term 3 reflection

Hello readers, once again I hope you're having a good day.

Today in this blog I'm going to be doing a term 3 reflection, I hope you'll enjoy reading it.

1. A term 3 highlight for me was definitely lockdown, because of the reasons below.
2. I liked lockdown a lot because I could sleep in, play games whenever I wanted to, and eat whenever I wanted to. It also sparked one of my new hobbies, making NASCAR stop motions, like the one at the bottom of this blog.
3. My favourite subject this term was probably cooking, because.. well.. it's a cooking class, and I like cooking and eating food.
4. Me and my group created miniature chess, but we gave the different pieces different names like Chuck. (my name idea) we also did a lot of planning ahead of making it, like doing a google slideshow and planning how we would  make it.
5. I am looking forward to sleeping, playing games, and making more stop motions. LIKE THE ONE BELOW.

Oh well, I'm done writing. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog, and settle back and watch an absolutely horrible stop motion.

Jersey Cow Facts

Hello readers! I hope you're having a good day.

Today in Hurumanu 3, as another activity on the topic of the book called "Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff" we did another DLO on an animal that was either mentioned or made an appearance on pages 8-11. I chose the Jersey Cow, and I had a lot of fun scrolling through pictures and facts. I did this on a Google Jamboard, like I did for this blog. I hope you enjoy the new Mona Lisa!

New Zealand Half Crab FACTS!

Hello readers. Over the past few days we have been reading a text called "Uncle Don Knows Heaps Of Wacky Stuff!". The text was pretty interesting, and in addition to reading the text we had a follow-up activity. The activity was to research a sea animal (read the title or look at the image below) then create a DLO (digital learning object) about it. And.. that's what I did. It was actually quite fun and simple, and I was able to detail it and get it done pretty quickly, while also making sure that it makes sense, goes along the lines of the animal, all that sort of stuff.
